Tucked away in the hidden valley of Eagle Rock, California, lies a small studio dedicated to excavating a world of landscapes and natural history. This unique space blends painting and sculpture in a style that is both gestural and grotesque. Its a 12 month exploration of geology and zoology - mining the promise of what lies beneath loam and recording the marks we leave on the surface.

Dan Owen is the resident, with over thirty years developing products for both the art and entertainment industry. Graduated from the University of South Wales with BA (Hons) in Fine Art, currently works in ceramics, print making and painting.
