A sculpt in a mid range BMix clay, decorated with underglazes and mid range glazes. Inspired by the story of a 1930's famous escapologist who escaped the shackles of death, only to find himself trapped in the body of a circus chimp. His quest was to travel the Americas to find his estranged wife and convince her of his identity. In order to somewhat integrate himself with society, he shaved his body daily and adopted the name "James (Jim) Pansey".
